Installation
The initial installation step of the bottle-top dispenser is to install the pipette. According to the size of the vial used, cut the matching pipette into a suitable length and manually screw one end of the pipette with the fixed threaded sleeve to the bottom valve of the bottle-top dispenser.
The second step is to install the return tube. Insert the straight end of the short and transparent return tube into the socket next to the pipette valve, which is at the bottom of the dispenser.
Next is to install the dispensing tube. Secure the dispensing tube through the retaining nut at one end to the horizontal interface on the front of the dispenser.
Finally, install the dispenser to the bottle. Through the threaded interface at the bottom of the dispenser, connect it onto the reagent bottle.
Bubble Removal
During the pipetting and draining process of the bottle-top dispenser, make sure that there is no air bubble left inside, which can be observed through the side window of the dispenser. Repeatedly conduct the operation until all the air bubbles in the pipe are discharged.



The first problem when using bottle-top dispensers is piston viscosity. Generally, the most possible cause is something dirty or crystallized stuck on the pistons. And in that case, we should stop separating liquid immediately and loosen the piston by making a circular rotation, and be careful of not pulling it out. Then clean the instrument.
The second problem is that the liquid is unable to enter. There are maybe two reasons. One is the volume scale is set to the minimum. Just set it to the required capacity. The other is that the intake valve is adhesive. Clean the intake valve or replace it.
The third problem is unable to separate the liquid. Reasons for the situation mostly relate to the drainage pipe. Check if the safety cap of the drainage pipe is removed. If it is not, remove it. Otherwise, the drainage pipe is not connected or damaged. Clean it or replace it.
The fourth problem is the bubbles in the instrument. If you extract the reagents with high vapor pressure too quickly, or the seal ring is not inserted, you may meet this problem. And you should find the reason and the suitable method.
The last problem is too little liquid separation. When any part of the instrument is not installed correctly or damaged, it will cause little liquid separation. Clean the problematic parts first and replace them if necessary.
