Different Applications of Bottle-Top Dispensers

The bottle-top dispenser is used especially for the high viscosity, high density, and high volatile solutions and solvents in the lab. In terms of the different solutions applied, it can be divided into three types: standard type, organic type, and HF type. Each type of them may remove and separate the solutions respectively conveniently and securely.

Standard Type
The standard type bottle-top dispenser is designed for most corrosive reagents, including common acid, alkali, and saline solutions, non-oxidized strong acid in lower concentrations, alkali solutions, and other organic solvents. The part of the dispenser contact with the solutions is made of borosilicate glass, ceramic, ETFE, FEP, PFA, and PP material.

Organic Type
The organic-type bottle-top dispenser is mainly used for organic solvents and strong acid solutions in higher concentrations, such as chlorinated hydrocarbon, fluorinated solvents, HCI, TFA, peroxides, etc. As for this type, the part contact with the solutions is made of borosilicate glass, alumina ceramic, ETFE, FEP, PFA, and PP material.

HF Type
The HF-type bottle-top dispenser is only designed for HF solutions. Its tolerance for the concentration of HF acid solutions is up to 52%. Since the HF solutions can corrode glass, the part contacted with it is made of ceramic, platinum-rhodium alloy, ETFE, FEP, PFA, and PP material. In case the HF acid’s volatilization produces thick smoke, the sealing kit is recommended.
